She then formed close ties with Love, Cobain, and Erlandson. However, when she moved to Seattle, her drug used spiraled. She left Hole to get clean. After Cobain’s death, she planned to leave Seattle and Hole to move back to MN. Unfortunately, the morning she planned to leave she was found dead in her apartment, apparently from a herion overdoese. This story isn’t generally accepted. Regardless, her story lives on. A local Minneapolis radio station started a 1,000 dollar scholarship in her name. She was also inducted into the Buffalo NY(where she was born)Music Hall of Fame, where is she is also buried. RIP Kristen Pfaff.
